Most Expensive Star Wars Memorabilia

Since the original release of the franchise’s first movie in 1977, Star Wars has become one of the most successful entertainment franchises of all time. Six movies, hundreds of novels and comics, video games, a pair of tabletop role-playing game lines and thousands of toys—there’s no end to the products an avid Star Wars fan can spend his or her money on. Now, with a seventh Star Wars movie in the works, we thought you might like to know about the most expensive Star Wars memorabilia ever sold.

World's Most Expensive Star Wars Memorabilia

Originally worn by Olympic fencing champion Bob Anderson in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, this Darth Vader helmet was used during that movie’s fight sequences. It was created to give Anderson clearer vision while he crossed lightsabers with Luke Skywalker.

The most expensive Star Wars memorabilia was auctioned by Profiles in History, a California auction house specializing in movie props and other Hollywood memorabilia, in April 2003. It sold for $115,000.
